MIND MATTERS – AGING, COGNITIVE HEALTH & DEMENTIA-CARE

Come to a FREE community event to learn from a panel of expert community leaders about aging, cognitive health and dementia-care. Mind Matters will be on Thursday, August 7th at 4:30pm in the Loman Trover Conference Room which is located on the 8th floor of the clinic tower building of Baptist Deaconess Hospital (200 Clinic Drive Madisonville, KY).
This event will also offer community resources that serve senior adults in Hopkins County & will feature a diverse panel of speakers who bring a wide variety of experiences in the field of cognitive health, aging, & dementia-care. Come & bring your questions! This event is FREE & open to the public and is being coordinated by the Friends Place Respite Program of Madisonville.
The panel of speakers will be:
Randa Ramsey-Hurt Community Educator with the Greater KY/ Southern Indiana Alzheimer’s Association.
Dr. Bryce Gibson, Family Practice Physician at Baptist Deaconness of Madisonville
David Nisbet, Co-founder and trainer for “Dementia Friendly Lexington” & Volunteer Coordinator for Best Friends Day Program in Lexington.
Robbie Jones, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, ANVP-BC, Stroke Coordinator at Baptist Deaconness of Madisonville.
