Staind will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their landmark album Break the Cycle with a major North American tour featuring fellow rock acts Seether, Hoobastank and Hinder.
The band’s 2001 record remains their most successful release, earning five-times platinum certification and producing several major hits. Among them is the breakout single “It’s Been A While,” which dominated modern rock radio and held the No. 1 spot for 20 weeks. Other popular tracks from the album include “Fade,” “For You,” “Price to Pay,” “So Far Away,” and “Right Here.”
Staind frontman Aaron Lewis reflected on the milestone, saying, “Twenty-five years later to be touring, celebrating this album and bringing our music to our fans near and far is something really special. I’m looking forward to going out with these guys. It’s like one big family reunion!”
After a previously scheduled performance at Florida’s ‘Welcome to Rockville’ festival, the Break the Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour will officially launch May 9 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. The run will continue through October 19, wrapping up at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
The extensive tour will visit numerous cities across the United States and Canada, including stops in states such as Alabama, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, California and Arizona, along with a Canadian date in Ontario.
